Let Us Usher In The Outsiders

Springfield City School District and John Legend Theater @ The Dome continue to bring the community together by showcasing youth and adult productions. To add even more value to their live theatrical productions, their usher-volunteer program also supports area nonprofits. There are many upcoming opportunities to volunteer and lend yourselves to all of the above— and take in a live theater experience too.

Volunteer ushers will earn a $30 credit for an eligible nonprofit organization of their choice for each event at which they usher. Participants may specify the organization they wish to receive the credit when they arrive and sign-in. Ushers also get to see the show for free!

Springfield City School District and JLT@ the Dome ask that all ushers:
  • Be 16 years of age or older
  • Able to interact professionally with the public
  • Dress business casual and wear white tops with black bottoms
